PharmaRelations is the leading recruitment company for Life Science in the Nordics

 PharmaRelations recruitment division works across all Nordic countries, with particularly strong centers in Stockholm and Copenhagen, due to the size of the Life Science specialist market in these two cities.

 Helena Marteus is leading Nordic Recruitment from her base in Stockholm.

 - Together with all my colleagues in PharmaRelations Group we conduct some 2000 interviews every year and meet many of the specialists in Nordic Life Science, that is part of our success, we have an extensive network in all Nordics, says Helena Marteus.

 - My team with five colleagues in Stockholm are each focusing on specific areas of Life Science and are incredibly knowledgeable in their expertise domains. Our Copenhagen team has three persons working on recruitment, growing in the new year with yet another member. In Oslo and Helsinki we are one recruiter in each place. We work closely together across the countries and take on many multi geography recruitment projects, says Helena.

 All of us have long backgrounds from Life Science, from specialist roles or from recruitment. I myself, as an example have a solid education background in pharmacology and organic chemistry, I have worked in the industry, and I have devoted the last 15 years to recruitment, an area that I am passionate about.

- We are some 200 associates in PharmaRelations in total, most are specialists in diverse fields, so I and my recruiter colleagues have an army of easily accessible experts, do we need to know more about any specific function or role. We have 14 000 followers on LinkedIn, and the Job hub on our web page www.pharmarelations.com constantly expose some 20-30 interesting job posts, with new ones posted every day. The visibility in the Nordic Life Science community of our available positions is another reason for our success, says Helena.

More men joining PharmaRelations create a better gender balance – thanks to our Engineers

 With our focus on Medical Engineering and Medical Device regulatory, we have recently seen an inflow of more men in our company, creating a new and wonderful gender balance.

Thomas Grundström   who recently took on the position as Nordic Head Medical Engineering has already created a team of many engineers around him, preparing for a very busy start of 2022. Within Thomas area we focus on validation engineers, project leaders with technical background, process- and production specialists for Life Science. Anders Wihlborg, Head of Medical Device


Same goes for Anders Wihlborg , Head of Medical Device within our Regulatory Services division. Anders Medical Device sector is growing as fast as we can recruit specialists. However, he has also found several female colleagues.

 Within our recruitment team in Stockholm, Erik Wallin  is the team member that mostly focuses on technical and medtech recruitment. Male and passionate about technical issues, he recruits both female and male candidates with the same eagerness.

 Finally, Victoria Lindström , Consultant Manager within Medical, is spending a lot of time finding the best consultants for various positions within the lab and scientific space, and quite often she ends up with a male laboratory or process engineer.

Our Copenhagen office extending space again – We are growing!

 For the third time in the same office building, Hummeltoftevej 49, in Virum, PharmaRelations must extend the office space, now to a full floor of our own. The move will be an easy one without much disturbance and take place early February 2022.

 PharmaRelations Denmark, Gazelle awarded by Børsen this autumn, is going for a second award next year, so the space is needed for planned growth.
